Our Eye Doctors
Richard Zimbalist OD, FAAO
Dr. Richard Zimbalist received his optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2008. He then completed a residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He went on to obtain fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in 2012. Dr. Zimbalist is on staff at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He holds clinical adjunct appointments at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis College of Optometry and Southern College of Optometry. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Zimbalist has authored multiple journal articles and posters for national meetings.
